Project Outline:

Artist Selection & Collaboration:

We partnered with Madwings (Maddison Gibbs and Jason Wing) to deliver a vibrant mural at Stockland Gables, creating a striking visual celebration of culture and community. The artist were commissioned to develop a site-specific design that draws on heritage, storytelling, and cultural perspectives. Madwings engaged with the local First Nations working group and incorporated their suggestions into the mural, ensuring visual elements were meaningful and respectful. We facilitated a collaborative process with Stockland to guide the concept so it resonated with the local community while honouring the depth and significance of the artist’s cultural perspective.

Project Management & Delivery:

Our team managed all logistical aspects of the project including liaising with Stockland, coordinating site access, sourcing high-quality mural materials, and providing on-site support to ensure a seamless creative process.

Artistic Delivery & Legacy:

The completed mural is more than a decorative feature. It anchors Stockland Gables as a space where culture and community coexist, offering moments of discovery for visitors of all ages. By integrating feedback from the local First Nations working group, it provides an authentic connection to local heritage and perspectives. The work sparks curiosity, dialogue, and reflection, strengthening community identity and connection to place. Beyond the immediate visual impact, it establishes a lasting platform for cultural storytelling and positions the space as a site of ongoing cultural engagement.
